Sunday 3rd January 2027 - Bodmin Tennis Centre (PL31 1DE)

This one day conference is being run by Cornwall Tennis and the Rocket Padel WDC at the Bodmin Tennis Centre from 9am to 6pm on Sunday 3rd January, and is open to all coaches.

The conference will provide two Tennis CPD sessions of four hours each (one in the morning, one in the afternoon, with a Pasty lunch between 1 and 2pm). Coaches attending the full day will receive 8 Coach Credits.

The CPDs being offered are:

* HOW TO USE PSYCHOLOGY TO OPTIMISE PLAYER DEVELOPMENT (9.00 - 13.00) - This workshop will provide Coaches with a foundational understanding of applied sport psychology. It will teach Coaches how to use evidence-based psychological principles in their daily coaching practice.

* GREAT GROUP COACHING #3: 30+ DRILLS AND GAMES TO END YOUR LESSON (14.00 - 18.00) - Learn how to create and modify end-of-session games which challenge players’ tactical, technical, physical and mental skills. Player development shouldn’t stop when nearing the end of a lesson; discover how to get the best out of your players by weaving the four performance factors into fun games.

The cost for the day (including lunch) is £100.
